zlota7-9.com is a non-commercial project commemorating the first residents of the house at 7 and 9 Złota Street in Warsaw. We respect visitors’ privacy — below we explain what data we process and why.
Data controller
The controller of personal data is the team of the project commemorating the residents of the house at 7 and 9 Złota Street in Warsaw. Contact for all data matters: kontakt@zlota7-9.com.
What data we process and why
Contact form and e-mail correspondence — the content of the message, an optionally provided e-mail address, and the sender’s technical data (IP address, date and time of sending, browser identifier). Purposes: replying and conducting correspondence, keeping the service secure, and documenting and reporting unlawful content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the controller’s legitimate interest; where cooperation with law enforcement is concerned, also point (c)).
Server logs — the hosting provider keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for security and service maintenance.
Recipients of data
Correspondence is accessible to the people running the project. Data is stored in the infrastructure of the site’s hosting and e-mail provider (Hostinger — a data processor). In the case of unlawful content, data may be passed to law enforcement authorities.
Retention
We keep correspondence for the duration of the project and the documentation of its history; messages containing unlawful content — until the final conclusion of the relevant proceedings. Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s policy.
Your rights
Every person has the right of access to their data, to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl). Providing an e-mail address in the form is voluntary and serves only to receive a reply.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking tools. Fonts, photographs and the film are served from our own server — browsing the site involves no transfer of data to third parties. Links to external archives (such as the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive) open in a new tab; those services’ own policies apply only once you go there.
People described in the biographies
The site is documentary and commemorative in character. The biographies concern above all deceased persons, whose data falls outside the GDPR. Information about living family members is published in agreement with the families. Requests for correction or removal of information should be sent to kontakt@zlota7-9.com.
